In the event of Ethernet connectivity loss, it can switch to the repeater mode to reconnect to the internet automatically, ensuring continuous internet access. Additionally, Marble's LAN ports can be switched to WAN ports, allowing it to adapt to your unique networking requirements.

AdGuard Home ensures a safer web experience by protecting you from phishing attempts and malware attacks. Additionally, it combats trackers and analytics systems that spy on your online activities.

GL.iNet offers the drop-in gateway feature, which enhances your primary router's functionality by adding features it may lack, including AdGuard Home, encrypted DNS, and VPN. This feature allows you to continue using your primary router as usual while gaining additional capabilities. You can enable the drop-in gateway for all devices or only specific devices connected to your primary router.

Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) enables the use of 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequencies typically reserved for radar operations. The availability of DFS channels differs across various countries. For years I was a Draytek fan but once Gl-iNet started to move upmarket from their cheap and cheerful travel router, I fell in love with their consistent interface and in the process dug into “advanced” and discovered the underlying OpenWrt with which I've since become very familiar and from which I would now be loathed to switch.

GL.iNet GL-B3000 Marble ships with a photo frame acting as a stand for the router and makes it look like an office or home decoration item rather than another bland white box on the desk.
