Above and beyond, and more.
"Fantastic product. It's a travel router that truly maximizes its potential. Love that you can remove the battery and use it only when needed, and have essentially a powerful router with cellular that's only thicker than a phone. TIP: Check your region's cellular coverage before buying, esp. if you're outside the EU and US."

Outperforms More Expensive Competitors
"Really impressed with the Mudi 7. The signal is strong, setup is quick, and the touchscreen actually makes it pleasant to use. Battery life easily lasts a full day, and the eSIM support is super convenient when traveling. Only small downside: an extra LAN/WAN port would’ve made it perfect. But overall, it’s a solid and reliable travel companion."

Great Travel Router with Useful Extra Features
"I used this extensively during my trip to Japan. I was a bit surprised by how large it was, but since I mostly used it inside hotels, it wasn’t really an issue. I also used the VPN feature and used it to connect my Chromecast to the internet. One thing I especially liked was that the router could also provide external power to the Chromecast in addition to internet connectivity."

Need more improvement Mudi7
"I’m not completely satisfied, but overall I’m happy with it. On the hardware side, the coverage of 4G LTE and 5G bands in Japan was insufficient. It was also disappointing that the device is split into European and US editions. I wish it had been a single model that covered global bands. On the software side, despite having a touchscreen, I felt the functionality was lacking. For example, I’d like to be able to toggle features like AdGuard Home on and off, similar to how it works on the SLATE7. Another issue is that Tailscale isn’t categorized under VPN, so you can’t temporarily disable it from the touchscreen. This definitely needs improvement. I think Tailscale should be integrated into the VPN section."

Stronger Signal, Seamless Remote Access
"I’ve been using the Mudi 7 for a while now, and overall I’m really impressed. The connection is stable and fast, especially when I’m on the move or in areas with weaker coverage. What really stands out is that the signal reception is noticeably better than my iPhone. It’s compact, easy to carry, and super convenient for travel. Definitely a reliable device if you need consistent internet access on the go. Another feature I really appreciate is how it works with my Slate 7 at home through AstroWarp. It allows me to easily connect back to my home network, access internal devices, and even set my network exit point remotely, which is incredibly convenient."

It's that good
"I've had it for over two weeks now, done a ton of tests and it's been great; design, build quality, battery life, temps, boot up time, UI, app and more are all truly impressive. Very pleased"

Great portable router. I take
"Great portable router. I take it when I’m at a co-working space, library or coffee shop. The battery is pretty decent but I do have to charge it halfway through the day."

The Ultimate Versatile Travel Router
"I recently picked up the GL. iNet Mudi 7, and it has exceeded my expectations in every category. The build quality is excellent, feeling sturdy enough to handle daily travel while remaining compact enough to carry anywhere. What really sets this apart from standard 5G modems is the feature set. While competitors are often more expensive, they frequently lack the "travel router" essentials. The Mudi 7 includes a dedicated Ethernet port and robust load balancing/failover features that make it much more than just a hotspot. On the performance side, the signal coverage is fantastic. I run a VPN (Wireguard) 24/7, and I’m seeing nearly 1:1 bandwidth, which is incredible for a portable device. Having Adguard built-in is another massive plus for a clean browsing experience. I use this as both my mobile and home router. The battery passthrough feature is a game-changer for me; I can leave it plugged in at home without worrying about degrading the battery. The touchscreen makes the initial setup and daily management very intuitive. It’s a brilliant piece of innovation, and I look forward to seeing how GL. iNet continues to support and evolve this platform."
